Description

"Occupational therapy room as a starting point
——
FLYING KIDS was founded on August 16, 2012 in Johor Bahru, starting from an occupational therapy room on the second floor of a shophouse. For us, everyone's development requires a happy and quality life. The service provided by Flying Kids is to establish a meaningful life for these special children. We strongly encourage family participation. In each treatment course, we will discuss the course content, purpose and future plans with parents, convey effective treatment information, let parents truly understand their children, and help children improve in different aspects of life and learning.

Child Development Center established
——

In April 2014, FLYING KIDS and special education professionals jointly established the FLYING KIDS Child Development Center. This provides a suitable learning environment for special children who are rejected by ordinary kindergartens and ordinary schools. In the Flying Kids Child Development Center, children's abilities at all levels are developed, the degree of their disabilities is reduced, and they are adapted to general school education. We focus on communication with parents and hold individualized education plan meetings regularly. In addition, special education teachers will also arrange time to visit each student's home to help parents plan the learning environment, discuss their children's learning problems, and provide learning strategies.

Added psychotherapy department
——

With years of experience in assisting families of children with special needs and developmental disabilities, FLYING KIDS added a psychotherapy department in November 2016. Through professional psychotherapy techniques, we provide psychotherapy for children with special needs, parents and the general public to adjust their negative emotions, overcome psychological barriers, promote the development of psychological functions and physical and mental health, and enable individuals, relationships and families to play a positive support role again.

In the future, FLYING KIDS will work with more relevant professionals to provide more comprehensive and diversified courses for special children in Malaysia. At the same time, through promotion, lectures, workshops and other activities, more teachers, parents and the public will understand and empathize with these special children and families. "
