Hometown Hainan Coffee was founded in 2008, with intentions of bringing forward and modernising the culture of relaxing in a local coffee house. Back in the era of colonisation, coffee was already embedded in everyday culture, with Hainanese roasted coffee pioneering the scene with its aromatic and fragrant taste. This was commonly enjoyed by the Englishmen along with fresh kaya butter toast. The Koh family is passionate about sharing this same nostalgic experience from the yesteryears to everyone, in a pleasant and contemporary environment.
