Learning to swim can be a scary experience for some. Being completely submerged in water, trying to breath, trying to see, trying to stay afloat.... we get it... it can be overwhelming, especially for children. At Supersharkz, we vowed to make learning to swim the most fun and enjoyable experience for every student we teach. So how do we successfully accomplish that? By creating a safe environment and teaching through play. Yes, play. Research has shown that this is how children develop the skills that ultimately give them the confidence and courage to explore and dive into new experiences.

Supersharkz Swim School was created with this goal in mind — to give children the platform to build essential life skills that will help them make waves in life. After all, it is our belief that learning to swim empowers lives by building confidence and character.

We’ve created an inviting and safe space where kids overcome their fears, learn to swim, respect the water and have lots of fun while doing it. Our bright, cheery colours and heated pools are simply the fun backdrop for where kids do some serious growing and learning. So while we’re focused on the serious stuff, your family will be focused on the fun. It’s what we call the S.U.P.E.R. Way!

Fun! Fun! Fun! When our instructors use activities that make learning fun and engaging, students are more willing to participate and take risks. Having fun while learning also helps students retain information better because the process is enjoyable and memorable.
Learning through Play - Our lessons are filled with games because we know that children learn best through play. It helps children make sense of the world through discovery, allowing them to develop cognitively, socially, emotionally and physically.
Positive Learning Environment - Our instructors create a positive learning environment in which students know that they are valued and respected, feel a sense of belonging and trust. Students are challenged to achieve high expectations and receive the support needed to meet those expectations.
Small-Steps Approach - At Supersharkz, we believe that small steps lead to great progress. Each of our swim program is divided into different levels and skills, allowing students to achieve and celebrate small goals along the way.
Mastery Learning - Our instructors will introduce a new skill to students only when they have mastered the current one. It is important that students build upon skills that they have mastered, otherwise new skills cannot be successfully executed due to a weak foundation. Students are encouraged to learn and move at their own pace.
